Chalk Mineral Paint
Clean your piece, preferably with Dixie Belle Cleaner, to remove dust and grime.

Paint with your favorite Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paint color using a lightly dampened brush.

Most pieces will take 1 to 2 coats for full coverage. Occasionally, after the first coat dries, it’ll look blotchy. Do not freak out! It’ll be beautiful after the second coat!
Sometimes you will see brushstrokes, don't worry, as the paint dries, they will disappear. Dixie Belle Paint is self leveling.
Dry time: 15 minutes - Cure time: 21-30 days
No Pain Gel Stain
This stain’s oil-based & has a deeper, more comprehensive coverage compared to our Voodoo Gel Stain.
You can utilize every one of our stains on a surface that’s unpainted or painted.
Allow 72 hours before staining on fresh paint.
Both stains can be applied with a lint-free cloth, a paintbrush, or you can use our Applicator Pads!
Start out with a small amount and then apply more depending on the shade you are looking for. Remember that less’ more. First, we recommend testing it on an inconspicuous spot.

No Pain Gel Stain’s oil-based & will need additional time to dry.
Dry time: 6-7 hours - Cure time: 21-30 days
Howdy Do Hemp Seed Oil
Start with a clean, dry surface.
Apply a small amount of oil to the surface with the use of a brush or lint-free cloth.

Gently rub until it’s absorbed by the Chalk Mineral Paint or raw wood.

Allow drying for 2 hours.
Wipe excess after 12 hours and repeat if necessary.

Dry time: 24 hours - Cure time: 21-30 days
Glaze
This is where the fun really begins! Want to add depth and dimension to a flat piece? Dixie Belle Glaze finishes do just that!
Give the Clear Coat a couple of hours to dry (or you can glaze first and then Clear coat).
Be sure the glaze is mixed really well.
Working in sections, make use of a sponge brush or chip brush and begin applying the glaze to your liking.
If you’re working with a piece with many nooks and crannies, work the glaze in to make those details pop.
If you would like less glaze, simply wipe off with a damp rag or paper towel.
Dry time: 15 minutes - Cure time: 21-30 days
Dixie Mud
Use Dixie Belle Mud to fill veneer, gouges, scrapes or even holes.
Use it to make a raised stenciled embellishment for your piece.
After Dixie Belle Paint has dried, place a DBP stencil over your project and secure it with adhesive or painters tape.
Using your mud spatula, spread the mud over your stencil. Simply scrape any excess back into your jar.
Gently remove your stencil. Now, you are left with an embellishment!
Spread Dixie Belle Mud over a flat surface and use stamps, leaves or even some burlap to create impressions and other interesting elements.
NEVER, never rinse the mud down your drain, clean utensils with baby wipes and throw away.
Be sure to store any open containers of Dixie Mud in the fridge!
Dry time: 30 minutes - Cure time: 21-30 days
Woodgraining Tool
Easy to use: simulates a wood-grain pattern using a simple, straightforward technique
Versatile: can be used on almost any flat surface to create a variety of different wood patterns, like cathedral oak, pine, and cedar
Dixie Dirt
Apply clear wax and allow 5-10 minutes to tack up.
Using a clean brush, dip into Dixie Dirt and brush over the surface, especially the nooks and crannies. Really rub it in there.
Wait a few minutes and brush off the loose dirt.
Using a lint-free cloth, very gently buff your piece. Gently work from the middle out to the edges so you get a nicely worn look.
Bonding BOSS
Stir the product with a circular, lifting motion until it achieves uniform consistency.

For optimal results, apply 2-3 coats of Bonding BOSS.

3 coats of Bonding BOSS are especially important when covering colors such as red, orange, or other tough stains.
In most painting projects, two coats of Bonding BOSS should suffice.

Allow at least 4 hours of dry time between coats.
Voodoo Gel Stain
This stain is water-based, is a little more translucent than the No Pain Gel Stain and provides medium coverage.
Remember that Voodoo Gel Stain’s water-based and will dry quicker compared to No Pain Gel Stain that’s oil-based.
Dry time: 15 minutes - Cure time: 21-30 days
Big Mama's Butta
Enhances wood grain & revives, protects & softens leather and other surfaces.
You can utilize it on unpainted or painted surfaces.
Let paint dry fully, if applicable.
Apply with a brush or lint-free cloth and buff excess.
Dry time: varies depending on application - Cure time: 7 days
Sea Spray
This is the Best Chalky Paint Additive to Create a Chippy, Textured, Weathered, Sun-Kissed Look!
Mix 2 level scoops of Sea Spray with 8 oz. of Dixie Belle Paint. Mix another ½ scoop, if needed. You want a thick, brownie batter-like consistency. If using larger amounts of paint, add scoops a couple at a time and stir.
Using a paintbrush, dab and smoosh the bristles to form crests and peaks, like ocean waves!
Once tacky, gently brush down the crests and peaks, calming the seas and creating texture. You can also leave it as is, keeping the seas stormy!
For more dimension, when dry, simply add another paint color (with or without Sea Spray) or glaze of your choice, then sand! Easy Peasy!
Now you have a beautiful piece that looks like it’s been around for ages! We encourage you to use your imagination!! Just like a day at the beach, there's no wrong or right way to use Sea Spray.
Patina
Clean your piece with White Lightning.
For metal surfaces: apply a coat of Prime Start to protect the metal underneath.
For every other surface: apply a coat of Chalk Mineral Paint & allow it to dry.
Stir/Shake the Patina Paint very well prior to applying since it’s full of metal pieces that will settle to the bottom over time.
Apply one coat of Patina Paint and let dry.
Apply a second coat of Patina Paint and while it is still wet, apply/ spray on the Patina Spray.
It can take 2 to 6 hours to reach the complete effect.
No sealing is necessary but it can be sealed with Gator Hide or Patina Guard after 48 hours.
Clear Coat

With a new cloth and clean water, wipe down again to remove residue.
